Is 3D Printing Dead? Did the Stock Market Finally Say “Enough is Enough?”

What is happening to the 3D Printing Stock Market? Is the honeymoon over? Is 3d Printing dead? Is this another dotcom bust? Is the fun over?

Well, the industry is hardly “over.” But back in the internet days, there was an expression:
B2C – which means “business to consumer.” Then there was B2B which means “business to business.” Finally, there was B2R.

Guess what that means? “Back to reality.” As we predicted in early January in the article:

We point to the fact that investors will be demanding real returns. Block and tackle marketing and sales. The mousetrap is less important than the “selling of the mousetrap.” As the 3D Printing Channel points out in their 3D Printing video the salespeople will now be in charge.

Firms that understand basic branding and positioning, coupled with a real measurable, actionable, marketing plan will succeed. The rest may die slowly or quickly, depending on their debts and stomachs for down markets.

We can help. Send us an email and let’s get serious about customers and investors buy.
