We point to the fact that investors will be demanding real returns. Block and tackle marketing and sales. The mousetrap is less important than the “selling of the mousetrap.” As the 3D Printing Channel points out in their 3D Printing video the salespeople will now be in charge.
Firms that understand basic branding and positioning, coupled with a real measurable, actionable, marketing plan will succeed. The rest may die slowly or quickly, depending on their debts and stomachs for down markets.
